What is Waiver Support Coordination?
- Support Coordination is the service of advocating, identifying, developing, coordinating and accessing supports and services on behalf of individuals or assisting individuals and their families to access supports and services on their own through the Medicaid iBudget Waiver.
- Waiver support coordinators assist individuals with identifying, developing, coordinating and accessing supports and services or assisting individuals and their families to access supports and services on their own.
- Waiver support coordinators will promote the health, safety, and well-being of individuals, and also promote the dignity and privacy and respect for individuals.
Full Job Description
- Must have a Bachelor Degree or higher and a minimum of two years paid supervised experience in developmental disabilities, special education, mental health, counseling, case management or social work services.
- Must pass a Level 2 background check and have a valid Driver License and reliable transportation.
